This last weekend we traveled the 2+ hours to Ventura to see our friends Cara Chris and baby Kaitlyln. We had a great time even though I didnt get much rest (Larry and Alyssa, along with Oggie and Soph decided it was THEIR bed).
On Sunday we went to the Doggie parade and had a great time. Cara and I then went shopping for schtuff (as all women MUST).
The Doggie parade supported CARL which is something akin the the Ventura Animal Adoption type League. I dont know the acronym exactly but it was great fun with the Frisbee dogs and the tricks as well as the vendors etc. Everyone had a great time as it was cool (at least for the most part) and there were lots of butts to sniff. Oggie and Sophie got to meet people at a Doxy rescue and Elvis Seymour just pretty much was bewildered by it all..but he I think he enjoyed chillin with the wieners.
They did have contests... best trick, best costume, best kisser... and guess what...Oggie won best kisser! and then he won best of the best!. Larry was so proud of his little man.
