Why is it when youre making schedules or projects that the first month or so its fun and then after that it just sucks?
I have the benefit (cough cough**) of making a schedule for my coworkers to do something we all hate. Ive done my best to take it over and sometimes (many times) that means taking the brunt of the time and scheduling it for myself. However everyone seems to think that I use it to my advantage, and dont schedule myself. I have totals that prove that I take more than others... and yet some contest that count, I know theyre doing it somewhat in jest, somewhat in truth. It makes it hard for me to carry on doing this job even though they know they will not want the Team leads to do it- as they do not take into account vacation schedules, Dr. Appts, or preferences.
It is not a good place to be... but I guess the only solution is to suck it up. When Im out sometime and they suffer through someone elses schedule they will figure out the difference.
